Story:A century of Transylvanian tranquility is about to come to a shocking end. Once again the mortifying screams of helpless villagers shake the ground as they huddle against new nightmarish horrors unleashed by the Duke of Darkness, Count Dracula. And this time he has a tombstone with your name on it, Simon Belmont. You must descend into Castle of the Undead and its gruesome ground, accompanied by the most chilling sound effects to ever tingle your spine. Inside, a freshly dug 11 levels maze features the treacherous Terrace of Terror, the dangerous Rotating Dungeon, the Sunken Ruins of Lost Spirits, torture chambers and creature filled caves. Use your whip like a grappling hook and swing past hundreds of traps and a host of ghost freaks, living corpses and hidden goblins. All while dodging or destroying the unpredictable spitting lizards, carnivorous coffins, and more. Find the concealed weapons needed to defeat everything from eerie phantoms to haunted furniture. Then prepare to find yourself face-to-thing with hideous torments like the Tongue Lasher, the Darkest Knight, the Bone-Afide Horseman and the Granite Crusher. Some could say a bit overrated which I'll agree with. Not the greatest Castlevania game ever. Sure you can whip in more directions than any of the other classic Castlevania games. The difficulty is notably tone down maybe a little too much for my take. The game can be a little on the long side as well. Some of the bosses' appearances like The Creature I wasn't a fan of. This still the best SNES Castlevania game. In terms of the art style it's among the best classic Castlevania games. The audio as a whole amazing stuff. There's some impressive animations as well. Despite being an remake of Castlevania 1. Possibly the best Castlevania 1 experience imaginable. Super Castlevania IV still has a time limit. Not much of an issue until late into the game. I personally preferred Castlevania: Bloodlines. I would say this is the best Simon Belmont experience ever!!! To me it felt like Castlevania 1 Easy mode almost the entire time. I played this through Castlevania Anniversary Collection. It's worth checking out if you're an Castlevania fan. In all honestly just wasn't crazy for this Castlevania game. I would consider replaying the game to a degree that's it.

Ys II: Ancient Ys Vanished - The Final ChapterA bright light shot up from Darm Tower in the end of the first Ys, and Adol Christin is awakened by a young girl who finds him lying on the ground. She introduces herself as Lilia and tells Adol he is in the land of Ys. Finally he was able to establish a connection between his world and this mysterious land! But finding the gateway to Ys is not enough: Adol must stop an evil entity that his archenemy Dark Fact served. And his foes already know where he is. Ys II: Ancient Ys Vanished - The Final Chapter is a direct sequel to Ys: The Vanished Omens. The game continues to utilize the action role-playing combat style of the first installment, which requires the player to make the protagonist run into the enemy in order to cause damage, without the need to press an attack button. The player should choose the angles and the measure of contact with the enemy carefully, otherwise the hero will be killed. The player character can (and should) level up, perform quests for village people, gather money, and upgrade weapons and inventory, like in most other RPGs. The sequel offers a longer quest than the first installment, and adds a magic arsenal to Adol's abilities. Among the magic spells is a fire attack, a time-stopping spell, and a transformation ability that allows Adol to pass for a monster and converse with enemies. Magic spells deplete Adol's magic points bar.
