A great game of my childhood. I loved that you can mix turrets and units. Like a tank with a laser gun or the same tank with a rocket launcher, but both weapons can also be build on a atst like walker
I love this game; it would be special to have it on GOG. I have spent many hours on it and hope for a version that works on modern Windows PCs. Come on, CDPR and GOG, bring this game to us :)
This was my First RTS Game druing my childhood. I played it on Windows 98.
I loved the Gameplay and the Fraction. I want this Game on GoG because it is no longer playable on Modern PC Systems and its no longer aviable to buy it. Pls bring this Masterpiece back GoG :)
How i wish to play this again. And how i dream about a Remake :D.
Its so simple to build your own units modular, but its one of the best mechanics in games i ever saw. And unbelievable, one of the rarest oO.
Played this game on the familly computer, a weak windows 98, at 5fps maximium.
Still, it is a huge memory for me, and i've played it a lot of time.
Please archive this game, it will be awesome to play it again almost 20 years later !
Great memories of my childhood as well. Awesome techtree with modular unit design. Still looking good today. I would like to hear the xenit mines working again!
In Computerbild Spiele 2/2000 it became game of the month (test result 1.49). A complete solution was published in Computerbild Spiele 3/2000. And Thandor is included on the CD in the magazine 6/2001 I played with my brother a lot.
This game had great mechanics and unit personalization. Awesome memories with it, I with it could be available as I can't make it run in anything further than windows XP
The game is part of german gaming history. Compared to C&C it has its own charm. I distinctly remember the narrator calling out the unit names.
The soundtrack is great and the customizable options with the weapon types is a clever idea.
This game would make a perfect addition to gog's library, especially considering you can't run it on modern systems right now.
I played a lot of RTS games in my early ages and i must say that Thandors research system of different weapons and then the combination with different unit-bases was a highlight for me. It allowed a bunch of customizable armies which i thoroughly enjoyed. Of course there were obvious better ones especially considering the pathing, but high replayability nontheless.
