I loved this game when I had my Sega Saturn. The spirit and weapon combos and the "Legend of Zelda" style gameplay are incredible. They had one on the Sega Genesis too that was the game before this one. Both are very impressive and I loved Dytto, Brass, and Bawu the most(not sure I spelled the plant spirit's name right, lol).
This is definitely a magical game that didn't receive the recognition it deserved from the gaming community simply because it was released exclusively for the Sega Saturn, a console that sold very little... But the spirit summoning system, the wonderful gameplay, the character design, the captivating characters, the level design that uses natural elements and finally, the incredible soundtrack by Yuzo Koshiro, made this one of my favorite games of all time! It deserved a conversion to PC along with other Sega Saturn titles or even a remaster by SEGA itself and Studio Ancient!
