We had this game growing up and I remember spending many sessions trying to figure it out. The puzzles were decent (and especially notably, many of them have multiple different methods of solving them), but difficult for youngsters to figure it out. Still, the charming presentation, quirkiness of Albert himself, and "global voyage" feel of the game made it a memorable experience and one that we'd reference even as we grew older. Revisiting it as a young adult, I thought it held up great; the charm really comes through now and there's no other games quite like this series. Thankfully, I still have our old CD (and two more that I got of the other Uncle Albert games); unfortunately, it doesn't run on modern machines and so I have to rely on an old Windows XP I keep around in order to play it again. Rereleasing it for modern platforms so that a whole new generation can experience it is a fate that this game absolutely deserves.
