Wow, this stuff was quite awesome as a kid. Played this with my brother controlling a tank. We took turns driving and gunning at the same time on same keyboard. Quite a thrill, took our comms to the next level at the time and got us rekkin'. Only place where I got that feeling back was in HLL modern times with some mates. Couldn't play it for long as HDD's weren't that big and needed space for the next thing. This was quite big at the time.

Never played this game before but its pics and trailer in Computer Gaming World magazines fascinated me. As someone who enjoyed Hybrid genre games like Giants Citizen Kabuto and to some extent Brutal Legend I would really love to see this game get preserved since its pretty much forgotten at this point in time. Even on Youtube there is hardly any footage of this game that is not two decades old. It honestly does not deserve to be forgotten considering how unique its ideas are to mix RTS, FPS, and TPS, with military vehicles in large open world Battlefields I am pretty sure this was quite impressive for its time.

I really like that one, it's a unique mix of arcade and RTS - it's not perfect, but worth playing for sure. I still have it on CD. We can command our units from the map or take over one of them and control it directly. AI leaves a lot to be desired but it was so fun, really. Very interesting game. In campaign mode, World Wide War Web, we conquer virtual representations of countries/continents - we start from Africa and end on Russia. We could call in airstrikes and supply drops, even drones for recon. After defeating each of the countries, we receive some of its units as a reward to conquer the next one. In Instant mode we need to destroy several units or buildings and find exit - our time is limited. Although there was little content in Internet about this game, I've recently recorded all missions from World Wide War Web and Instant mode. Won't provide the link here, but you can find it on youtube.
As a kid this game was impossible to beat. Now as an adult it's impossible to find. This Game was well ahead of its time with a surprisingly complex command and control system that is largely ignored for the sole purpose of 3-D tank warfare or flying a helo.

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.

SNK vs. Capcom Card Fighters' Clash - Capcom Card Fighter's VersionSNK vs. Capcom: Card Fighters' Clash, released in 1999 for the Neo Geo Pocket Color handheld console, was the first crossover between SNK and Capcom. Each version of the game has a different starting deck and different exclusive cards that can be obtained, but the gameplay remains the same, with card battles resembling a somewhat simplified version of Magic: The Gathering, in which a maximum of three fighters are allowed in each player's field at any given moment and there is no mana to be spent to place them in the field.
