Hey everyone!

Recently I encountered a bug in Baldurs Gate 2 where Yoshimo does not return to the Copper Cornet in the Slums District once you have removed him from the party. There are several threads about this when you google the bug, but no solution thus far. It took me hours but I found a fix for this. Yoshimo will only disappear after you have agreed to work for Bodhi. In other scenarios he will return to the Copper Cornet. If you have lost him, here is how you can fix it by some clever hacking.

1. Download DLTCEP (BG editing tool) and Install the program.
http://forums.gibberlings3.net/index.php?app=downloads&showcat=58

2. Run BG2 and go into the Copper Corner. Stand between Anomen and Korgan. Now save your game as "Yoshimo".

3. Open DLTCEP. Go into Settings and untag `Read only`.

4. Go into Edit and select Game (GAM).

5. In the next window, go into File > Load External Game > and find your /save/00000##-Yoshimo/.. folder. Open the Baldur.gam file.

6. In the NPC field (top left) go to 3. *OSHI7. Then click on the Browse button next to the Area field (right below NPC). Select AR0406.

7. In Variables, scroll all the way down in the drop-down menu and find WORKINGFORBODHI, select it. Then hit the Remove button.

8. Go into File > Save Game As > go back to your /save/00000##-Yoshimo/.. folder. and overwrite the Baldur.gam file. (Note that the default path is /override, which also has a baldur.gam file. Don't overwrite that one, but find your Yoshimo folder!!)

9. Load your "Yoshimo" save game and Yoshimo is back! Add him to your party. Save the game as "Yoshimo" once more.

10. Return to DLTCEP and load the Yoshimo savegame once more. Go to Edit > Game and then in Variables you must add WORKINGFORBODHI in the field below the dropdown menu. Add 1 into the Value field and click on Add. Verify that the entry is back in the list.

11. Go into File > Save Game As > go back to your /save/00000##-Yoshimo/.. folder. and overwrite the Baldur.gam file. (Note that the default path is /override, which also has a baldur.gam file. Don't overwrite that one, but find your Yoshimo folder!!)

And you're done! :) Go back into BG2, load the save game and you can continue your adventure. Hope that helped a few people out there.
