For BG2.
Is this doable and which version should I use, complete or enhanced? I still have old save file folders named like so on my PC:
000000000-Auto-Save
000000001-Elbereth ch 2 Athkatla
etc

I also have some mod programs (.exe files) called unfinishedbusiness, tweaks and fixpack (I think this one is really called optional but cool), and a couple of checklist text files to comment on which ones I had installed.

I'm not interested in new content added to the enhanced version.

yes those mods are optional and not part of Enhanced edition so you would need to install the old games and would also need to match both the mod list + the order of install to keep playing a 5 year old save without bugs

personally I'd in Enhanced edition and just start a new game

Thanks, got it to work with the complete version (used he same mods as before) and have been playing it since last week. Works well so far besides a couple of one time crashes and one of the unfinished business quests not quite working as it should.
