I would like to know why the offline installer is at 99G
But when it is total installed it only take up about 57G on drive.

So what is the other 42G used for?

It isn't Phantom Liberty for sure. As you have to download an other 35.7G to install it

Why so much of what is download wasted?
Phantom Liberty Offline is 35.7

But it only say that it needs 21.3

So a different of 14.4G A lot of waste space.
My guess would be that it's localisation files (audio etc.) for different language versions.

Can confirm this. Each VO file is about 4 GB.

But it is so weird - the installer includes all the difference voiceover languages...but those are never actually available to freely switch between ingame. As far as I remember, the only time we'll ever have this choice is when initially installing the game.

Personally, I would prefer to have all the different VO languages available at all times, or at least be given the choice to install them all (or even better, selectively) whenever patching the game (obviously at additional disk space), just to perhaps learn a language from them.

I recently downloaded the Japanese VO pack separately, which is ironically considered modding the game since Japanese is already an officially supported language. And I have to say, in many instances, having everyone speak Japanese (still with English subtitles) in many cases felt like the way the game is meant to be played.

Yep, they sadly sqeueeze all the localisation stuff into the same installer.
I wonder how much space is wasted on my NAS from this.
