I've never used any laptop so far but I really need such PC to work when I do not have access to my main one. I need minimum 4 core CPU / 8GB RAM / 256GB SSD with MX150 (or Vega 8/10) and IPS display (with pen pressure support for digital drawing in Photoshop).

My first idea was to buy something around 11" in size (I need something very portable) but then I could not find any laptop to fulfill my needs so I "switched" to 13". There are "some" 13" laptops with/above specs I need (like MS Surface Book 2 HN6-00014 with i7-8650U, 8GB, 256 SSD, GTX1050 and Win10 Pro) but their price offer and repairability is "not so good" so "my last word" will be probably 14" (like ASUS ZenBook Flip UX461UN with i7-8550U, 16GB, 512 SSD, MX150 and Win10 Pro).

Q1. What companies do release good build quality laptops in general? I've heard that Lenovo is rather not the best example of that, what about ASUS?

Q2. Is there any model of such small laptop with dual channel memory? Even this ASUS model I mentioned (and would probably buy) has only single-channel memory, soldered(!) to motherboard. :/

Q3. Is it now a good time to buy such rather small laptop or I should "wait a few weeks" because you have heard that there will be "something good" for me released "soon"?
