BStone: Switched to Mint to try and play FO3. Mint doesn't play any games right out of the box like Zorin did, but Zorin has Wine and PlayOnLinux -I installed both on Mint and will see what happens.
Mint managed to run your wrapper and I get the FO3 start menu, but unsurprisingly (as I have nothing but issues with everything) FO3 wouldn't run just crashed.
A Wine issue perhaps? Wine is crashing on all the games in Mint.
As Pangaea666 said, you might want to try installing my common dependencies meta-package. That along with the usual driver & kernel updates should be enough for almost everything to work.
Also make sure you install the correct graphics drivers for your GPU - if using AMD or Intel graphics you should use the open source drivers and to update them you need to install a newer Mesa release and the latest available kernel; for Nvidia you will need to install their proprietary drivers via the Driver Manager. In both cases you'll need to add a PPA to get more recent drivers depending on what you're using - see the first post in this thread for more info & links.
It might also be worth checking out my
Mint guide.
If you're still having trouble after updating everything then try running the start script from the terminal (open the wrapper directory in the file manager, then right click and select "open in terminal", then run the command: WINEDEBUG="" ./start.sh play) and see what errors appear.

I recently give it a try on Lutris / PlayOnLinux and to my surprise those games stutter and pretty much unplayable. I don't know the issue since last year or so I can play them just fine using wine
I haven't looked into making wrappers for those as they have official wrappers already (plus the enhanced editions have native Linux versions) - do they have the same issues? Also have you tested them with GOGWrap?
