I can't seem to login today, keeps giving me the "Somethinng went wrong." msg at the top.

I was wondering if anyone else was having this issue. I sent them an email, though it's been so long I hope it's still the same one from my sent section lol.

I figured it can't hurt to ask here since games and anime go hand-in-hand sometimes.

Thanks for any news folks (good or bad lol).

Clear out your cookies / cache for crunchyroll.com then log on to the site again.
Thanks for the reply folks, but the issue cleared itself 30 mins later. Not sure why it happened or maybe my email to CR worked, who knows. I didn't get an email response from their support, so that part is pure assumption.

As to clearing cookies and cache. I clear it manually each time before I close out the chrome browser and repeat the process with Norton Utilities. This has been my practice for so many years that's it's become an instinctive habit lol. I know it's a bit excessive, but that's just how my personality is, what can I do. =P

Anyway the issue is solved. Ah, I did update my NVidia driver, since that seemed to be out-of-date, but that didn't help since I still couldn't log in after. I didn't reboot the pc or anything like that either even as I write this post. So really no idea what the cause was. I'm just happy I got to watch today's episodes lol, even if a bit late.

I used to try Crunchyroll, back in 2018. But with annoying commercials and lack of newer content and control, as well as censorship being fairly egregious; So I moved to other streaming sources.

I'd use it f there was no other option. But at the moment i wait for series to be complete and recoded.

They actually released quite a few good ones this year and end of last year. Other than the occasional hiccups and this one wierd one, it's been a pretty good service. This season wasn't as good as the last 2, but still has some lovely gems.

Since I pay yearly, I don't know about commercials, so can't comment there.

Some popular manga ones were released this year (like Solo Leveling), if you're into that kind of thing. I'm a manga reader myself, so I'm quite happy when they do it right. :)

There is one annoying thing that happened this year that I'm sure it upset a lot of people. They removed all comment sections. So now I just watch and leave. I'm not as attached to Crunchyroll now as I used to be. Without that sense of community, it's just a streaming platform for me, nothing more. Guess I'll never understand that decision, but I felt like they took away my "voice" there and I don't know if that would be considered censorship or not. Heh, whatever right? :)

But overall, I think the service is still good, but there are areas for improvements for sure and certainly some worries they'll make more silly decisions.

I just use the store from them after they absorbed RightStuf Anime. The streaming service from them has always been bad. I stopped even trying to stream there probably seven years ago. I have a friend who pays for the premium service and many of his complaints are much the same as I had from all that time ago. I've been tempted to try Hi Dive butt I just prefer to buy series these days and stow them on a shelf until I feel like getting around to them. So far Crunchyroll have kept up a very solid store for buying BDs and figures.
