I got incubation last night..but I can't get it to run..It simply does nothing, no error message or anything, but it still shows up in the running processes
Any idea???

Is this windows 10?

I had this issue on 7 (never did get it to run on that) and then a year or two later, 10.

Tried multiple different compatability modes, ran as admin etc etc. Also added to the list of DEP exceptions.

Eventually it ran. Not sure if an OS update changed that (on 10) or if my computer just decided it didnt hate me anymore.

For reference though:

I set it to run as admin with XP service pack 3 compatability and fullscreen optimisation disabled. Its also added to the list of DEP exceptions under advanced system settings.

Try that, and see?

Huh, now you mention it, I do have a vague memory of going through that thread. May well be the dll issue linked I experienced after all.

Sawpped the sound.dll with another from a working game, that did the trick. The game freezes pretty ofter though, but hey at least I can get it to work

i still need to play it really. after twice having issues getting it to run on different systems it has gone to the backlog of doom for now. ;)
