Between NA, EU and JP, which region was the best this year? Which one produced the most great games, or perhaps those few quality titles that still stand out from the rest to you?

You forgot the link to your poll.
Sorry about that, fixed.
Japan is just too strong in the early to mid 90s.
I am always surprised to see which games released in the same year. In '92 we get Fire Emblem Gaiden and Shining Force, but Final Fantasy V as well. And don't forget Soul Blazer, the first in a very good trilogy of games. Even for the GB we get Super Mario Land 2.
Just Breed came out that year, a very overlooked SRPG. And EVO: Search for Eden, while very grindy at times, was still quite good.
Glorious nippon.

Yeah it's also kinda crazy how SMB3 and Snatcher are from 1988, Herzog Zwei from 1989, Stunts from 1990, Street Fighter 2 and Hunter from 1991 and Virtua Racing, Dune 2 and UU1 are from 1992 for example.
