Enjoy!
Nice!
Nice indeed.
Impressively good! Does anybody have an idea how the high contrast elements effect is created? I mean, for example, the white tie on the main character, the white suspenders, the white badges and glasses on the police.

I'm acctually looking forward to seeing the "making of" video for this.

It is either a highly reflective coating on those things or a simple CGI effect. There should be a lot of making of documentaries for Rodriguez's Sin City where they used it a lot.

Let's not forget Frank Miller's The Spirit where they also used this effect, it's just that I don't have any of the Blu Rays for them.

Edit: I didn't find the extras on youtube, but some tutorials claim it's a a Photoshop After Effects thing.

I recently watched a Youtube clip about this short film where it was mentioned that Ordynsky (the film's maker), when asked about this effect, said it was created by actually applying luminescent paint to the elements that were supposed to glow and using ultra-violet to make them glow. There wasn't a direct quote from the film's maker or a link to a printed interview with him so, well, that might or might not be true.

That makes sense, since the effect seems to fade in some scenes. Thanks!
I have to admin that when I clicked on the link I was expecting to see a giant flying eyeball...
