Hello,

First of, I'm no Galaxy user. I prefer to download the installers and save them on an external HDD as I move around a lot and often have no internet access. Besides that I'll just right out admit I'm just old fashioned and liked to actually own a game rather than rely on an online service. When I do have access I often check my library on the website to see if any of my games have updates and download those.

This was usually an easy process just by checking my library and spot the blue bullets at title. They would point out updates. Or, you could just sort the library on Updated. However since a while now the blue bullets don't appear anymore. And updated games also show as 0.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Thanks in advance!

The dot also never worked 100% for all games.

I keep hearing this, but I did manually check of my games one day. Surprised to find out only a small number were outdated. I think was maybe more than 10 out 1300+. So it helps a lot with keeping games updated. Even if it's not 100%.

My advice is to keep a spreadsheet of the games you've downloaded offline installers for and what version you have so you can check it against the website if you care to see if a game has been updated.

That's good idea. I usually just check what version the game is on my hard drive. Sometimes the updates don't really add anything or break the game.
I haven't seen a blue dot in years but I see the purple one all the time.

That definitely a great suggestion, one that I probably should have been employing before I downloaded my entire library last year, rather than having to get all the numbers now.

OOF!

Mate, get yer eyes tested for colour perception - its purple!

I am not joking. Good chance you have a level of blue colour "blindness" and dont know. See this often with clients in my line of work.

I was being funny/sarcastic when I said Burgundy. I was just trying to think (at the time) of a different shade of colour of the top of my head... My colour perception is fine, no need for me or you to panic. ;-)

You little bollox! :D

Edit: in all seriousness though, i now have to pass a swatch out to prospective clients to assess their colour seeing ability before I'll work with them. At least ~1/5 cant properly perceive colours - which would be fine if 10 and 20 pound notes didnt have numerical markings! ;)

[sorry for the derail there all!]
