I have fond memories playing Boulder Dash on my C64 back in the 80s. I don't think I like the remake (or is it a sequel?) art too much, but I'd still like to get it here on GOG. Same with other arcade games I played on the C64 that got upgraded versions in the last couple of decades, like Archon, Dino's Eggs and Lode Runner.

If you want a DRM free game in the style of Boulder Dash, Cyberplex on itch.io is an awesome remake of the 90s game Supaplex. I also have the Supaplex remake on Steam, and I think Cyberplex is way better. Here's the link:

original boulder dash had a big flaw - no save game, if i remember right :-) at least i never figured out how it works

Boulderdash and Wizardy were my main games as a little kid. Too bad I had that stupid, underpowered IBM PCjr...

I really loved the sequel, Boulderdash II, and played it a lot more than the original.
Hope both of them make it here eventually as they are total classics now.
