Stylish four-player FPS PERISH is coming soon to GOG! Slay hordes of creatures on the scorched sands of Purgatory and sell their gold-stained corpses to craven priests. Kill magnificent bosses and use the proceeds to gain entrance to Elysium, a place of cosmic revelations.

You are amyetri, a corporeal spirit condemned to live a shadow life in the halfway realm of Purgatory. Bring an end to your suffering by initiating the Rites of Orpheus and defeat the chthonic deities that dominate your fractious path to Elysium.

Blastprocessor42: Do you not have friends? It's not that hard to get some friends together for a LAN party.
Do you think i can force my friends to play games they dont want to play?
humans sometimes argue and disagree you know
having an argument over what game to play is not impossible

Of course you can't force your friends to play a game, but do you think that just because *your* friends don't want to play, that no-one else should ever have the ability to play a LAN game with their friends?

I've played quite a few games over LAN with my friends, whose official online servers have long since ceased operation.

As i said before
Theres plenty of games where the lan feature is more or less dead because no other humans want to play it
and yes i been on plenty of lan games where there was games that no one else wanted to play
And if im going to play againsst bots i may as ewell just play single player games that have a campaign or missions
since not having human opponents on the game i wannt to play is restricting the way i want to play it for me

As to your other argument
sure i can be diplomatic and play the games the other people in the room wants to play but that does not solve the problem with the issue of restriction to the games that doesnt have any activity

but youre missing the issue here
Somebody claimed the lan option was unrestrcted
Thats only true when you have an active fanbase keeping the lan portion of the game alive

Of course i have played games on lan partys with friends
totally offline
but youre missing the issue here
The claim was that the lan portion of the game is unrestricted wich is only true if you having a active fanbase/playerbase playing the lan portion of the game

it doest help bringing a game that no one else want to play on a lan party even if the game is totally offline
The lan portion of the game no one else is interested in is more or less dead only preserved as a cold storage
and if im going to play againt the computer/ai in skirmish i may as well play the singleplayer campaign since that more or less gives the same satifaction in the entertaintment department

i dont have the ability to play any Lan game i wish with friends
I have to be picky and choose games that other people like and games with lan that have a actiive fanbase/playerbase
Even if a game is offline and i bring it with me on a lan party it wont help me if no one else is interested in playing it
I then have to chhose games i know are popular, or have small dedicated fanbase to be sure i have somone to play against
Otherwise the lan portion of the game is more or less dead if im not picky about it
