Some details on ones which I own -- here or elsewhere -- and for which I've looked into the multiplayer details. (Most of this is adapted from a post I made in
this currently-maintained thread, which mentions a lot more games with various forms of multiplayer):
- Age of Wonders (hotseat [not sure how many human players are supported] -- though I assume that, like a couple other games mentioned below, playing this way would change the dynamics of the game somewhat)
- Antihero (head-to-head hotseat -- though playing this way [as opposed to online] would change the gameplay a bit, since there is fog of war is specific to each player, but you'd obviously be able to see what the other character can during that player's turn)
- Broforce (shared-screen co-op, as well as some sort of competitive mode, both for up 4 players)
- Caveblazers (dynamic shared/split-screen [IIRC] 2-player co-op)
- Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!! (2-player split-screen co-op)
- Death Road to Canada (shared-screen co-op for up to 4 players)
- Epic Pinball Collection (turn-based score competition --
I'm basing this one entirely on memory, as I haven't played the couple tables I'm familiar with in many years, but I seem to remember being able to set up a game to rotate through at least 4 players, with a new player getting their turn when the previous one loses a "normal" ball)
- Hellpoint (2-player co-op [not sure if split-screen, shared-screen, or dynamic])
- JYDGE (co-op [2-player shared-screen, I think])
- THE KING OF FIGHTERS 2002 (shared-screen head-to-head)
- Neon Chrome (shared-screen co-op for up to 4 players in both the main game and the "Arena" DLC mode)
- Oh...Sir!! The Insult Simulator (head-to-head hotseat)
- Spelunky [the main version sold here, not the older one bundled with it as a bonus] (shared-screen co-op and deathmatch modes for up to 4 players)
- Streets of Rogue ([I
think dynamic] shared/split-screen co-op for up to 4 players)
- Talisman: Digital Edition (hotseat for up to 6 players -- though playing with shared controls like this would presumably mean you couldn't [judiciously] cast spells during other people's turns, which is kind of important for spell-focused characters)
- Tonight We Riot (2-player co-op [presumably shared-screen?])
- Towerfall: Ascension (shared-screen competitive play for up to 4 players, as well as a co-op mode [I think maybe just for 2 players -- though the "Dark World" expansion features co-op for up to 4 players])
- Tyrian 2000 (this is based solely on
a single screenshot from the GOG store page; based on that "Player 1" that can be seen on the left, I'd assume it's a similar case to the
Epic Pinball games mentioned above -- and any number of other action titles from back in the day -- where you can set it up so players take turns, with a different player starting their run when the previous one loses a life or whatever, and everyone's scores being compared at the end)
- Worms Forts: Under Siege (hotseat for a maximum of [just going by screenshots] at least 4 players)
- X-Morph: Defense Complete Edition (2-player co-op [apparently split-screen])
Another, older (abandoned) topic with some good recommendations is
here.
I'm reasonably sure that this one also has same-PC shared-screen play. Given its very specific premise, it would be very strange if it didn't. :P
