Hello everybody. I have been searching high and low to find an answer to this. GOG Galaxy keeps crashing when its syncing cloud saves. It doesn't matter which game it is. Everytime I start a game the Galaxy crash reporter comes up and closes the client after that. The funny thing are that it worked the day before. I haven't had a single change in network or computer enviroment.

I have two drives (one for windows and another for games) the client have always been installed on the one for games.

To give you some idea of what i have tried:

Make a rule allowing GOG in the windows defender firewall
Deleting galaxy.db directory
Reinstalled client to "Program Files" and not "Program Files (x86)
Changed Galaxy communication service to automatic in services

I can obviously just disable cloud saves and play the game no problem without the client crashing, but I would prefer to have the cloud save feature enabled

Hope someone out there might have the answer :)

What version of Galaxy are you using? For me there has been an update pending, but I haven't still done it.

I am currently using 2.080.33
I'm on 2.0.61.63 and have had no issues.

I think I will try to downgrade the client and see where that leads me

I have succesfully downgraded to 2.0.74.352 and that fixed the problem. I guess there is something broken in 2.080.33. I haven't been able to find other people with my problem though. Oh well thanks a ton for the help :)
I'm also having the same issue on 2.0.80.33, how did you downgrade to 2.0.74.352? I can't seem to find a page with older builds and installer just installs latest version.

Sorry for the late reply

Here is a link directly to gog.com to get version 2.074.352

Yup, same problem here on 2.0.80.33. I think for now I'll just disable cloud saves and hope the next update fixes this.
Same problem, it happens often but not always, when I start a game or when I exit a game, I sent the report, do you know if the team is aware?
My Galaxy on my Win7 just doesn't do cloud sync anymore, cannot look for updates either. It's just stuck on "looking for update" forever

Thank you sir! Downgrading fixed it for me as well
Just throwing it out there that I also get crashes when it syncs (usually when I launch a game). Not sure if it happens every time a some games weren't crashing like Turok 2 (maybe they don't have cloud saves?) though for some games like CP2077 and Battlefleet Gothic Armada it did seem to happen every time.
