In mid December the forum moderators posted a notice to expect delays in customer service response. The end of December I was overcharged for some onsale games and have been trying EVER SINCE to get the overcharge refunded. My emails have been completely ignored and while I'm trying to be patient and understanding, this has gone on a ridiculously long time without any contact or resolution.

How on earth are we supposed to get some attention to rectify an overcharge. It's my money and I want it back!!!

I'm seriously considering closing my account as a result of this poor level of support on a financial transaction and telling all my gaming friends to stay away from this site.
Sent one months ago myself and never a response. Maybe they'd rather get drunk and still get paid (because of covid). I love GoG, but they're on a downward spiral and fast.

I was promised the remasters of Blood Rayne and still nothing. Customer service died in a ditch.
Don't worry, all your problems will be magically solved when a mod locks down this thread first thing tomorrow to "prevent offtopic and spreading misleading information".
Yeah, I have a pending ticket myself and the GOG Support is crazily overwhelmed, but I see another post in which they said that they will reply every ticket and will offer discount to all those who lost a discount due the delay. Hope they will reach you soon, try to post your ticket number if some moderator appears.

Hopefully. It'll take a long while I'd imagine. I'd private message the number however. ;)
I am actually wondering how much staff they have in their helpdesk?. If it isnt a call centre they use, i would be amazed if they were massively behind in most of their support areas.Something they will have to work on seriously..
I wouldn't call it a problem, more of a GOG feature these days lol
Just a little comparison.
Perfect World's support was able to change email on my acc from a dead one to a new one in 3 days.
Ubisoft's support was able to transfer a game from one account to another in 1 day.
Looks like gog needs a lot of improvements to be as good as these.

They should have some automatizations.
First make refund rules clearer, and then they can put a bot onto it, which can easily accept requests and do the refund ,if it is according to the rules.

if we are into that sort of thing now, it took half a year for EA to restore my games they removed by mistake from my account. Even then they didn't restore all of them, still missing a bunch of freebies I've accumulated over the years.
We are sorry for the delay.
The problem has been already investigated and clarified :)
