Since it will be released on Steam tomorrow, wouldn't it be rather exciting to see the original Dead Island and Riptide here on the same day? Guess if those showed up then so would Dead Island 2.
Maybe, but try and sell me a little on the idea of Dead Island, Riptide: Ripto's Revenge, and Dead Island 2.

As far as my eyes hear, two of those sound like your generic survival crafting zombie sims.

That'd be great and I'd buy them, but Techland is probably busy with Dying Light 2 unfortunately. I wouldn't expect DI2 anytime soon.

I have nostalgia bias for watching theRadBrad play Dead Island 1.
Banners are quiet. Wonder if the Dead Islands are coming. Convenient timing for it.

Maybe not but hey, one can wish. Guess we will know in less than an hour.

Not to burst your bubble, but unless a game is scheduled to release at the usual launch time for new titles, everything else gets a 15:00 CET release

In the faq they say:

"4. Will it be possible to play cross-play with friends?
Dead Island 2 has cross-play functionality for PC versions only, so it is possible for friends to play together on Steam and Epic Games."

No mention of any crossplay with gOg, so seems like gOg is out of the picture

The first game and Riptide are excellent games when played solo, the issue is that most people think it's just a coop game. Coop ruins the game completely, and there is a great game there for those who have the patience to notice.

The first thing in that statement has no relationship whatsoever to the second thing in that statement.

Actually it does. If you can't make the connection then no one can help you.

I'm glad you replied, but that still didn't actually tell nor sell me on the game.

They are great, but misunderstood games. Bought the first on release, and the first hour is one of my most memorable in gaming. They just have such a sense of atmosphere, game has a very foreboding vibe. There is a decent story there too if you are paying attention. Problem is that it is all lost when playing coop, and if you playing with randoms online you might aswell play zombie panic in CSS. Game isn't perfect, far too easy. But definitely worth playing.
