This impressive single-dev indie game flew under the radar for me. It released today 8th of October, and it's on 20% discount for the next week.

I saw no news notices or exposure from GOG. Do the release news posts get done with a delay usually, or how does it work?

In any case, it looks like XCOM meets Left for Dead 2. The campaign will last under 15 hours apparently, so a bit on the short side, but the price to me seems right.

Would love to hear opinions before I pull the trigger. I did read one review, and some posts on Steam forums (yuck) and they seemed pretty much on par with any XCOM-like critique (why did my 93% shot miss?! game too hard!), so I'll take those with a grain of salt.
