If i install DirectPlay, some gog games need it, will I get performance problems with newer games (Direcx9/11/12)?

DirectPlay IIRC was only a method of networking, so I dont think you will.
Only way to find out is to install it and find out.

I don't really know anything about Windows and its components, but would at least be very surprised if this caused you any performance problems.

It definetly won't affect the newer games. Since it is used for connecting/hosting the server for older games.

The real problem are all games that use directx8/8.1 on windows 10...

directplay works fine and is used only by some very old games
