Hello guys, I'm fairly new to GOG and wanted to play some games from my childhood, but I'm not the kind of person who pays full price for something I can get on sale with a little patience.

So I'm wondering if GOG will send me an Email or any notification.

If I need to switch it on to get a message, where do I do that?

Yep, you always do (assuming you have e-mail notifications enabled in your Settings>Subscriptions, which they should be, by default), that's generally the point of putting games into your wishlist.

There's a slight delay, might take a couple of hours, sometimes a bit longer to get those notification mails after the games are put on sale, but you'll always get them.

Go here:-
https://www.gog.com/en/account/settings/subscriptions

and tick "Wishlist alerts".

You can turn this on. There's a menu when you hover over your nickname at the very top of the page. Select Orders & settings and then go to Subscriptions. One of the available notifications is Wishlist alerts

Edit: AB2012 way is quicker. ;)

Yes you do receive notification when a wish listed item goes on sale (if you happen to enable the relevant setting in your account), as already mentioned. Just be mindful, that sometimes those emails can sometimes arrive a little late..
