drminformer25: Was my post about Baldur's Gate 3 ignored?
I think Bethesda games like The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (both editions) and maybe others, while not having DRM themselves, still deserve a dishonorable mention. They have a lot of bugs, and require some mods (Unofficial Patches at least) to be installed to make them playable without being afraid to accidentally trigger some game-breaking bug which only gets noticed much later (at least it is so in Oblivion, but the other games mentioned have Unofficial Patches for them too). And installing mods is a big annoyance, when the websites where they are hosted (mainly Nexus Mods) often require registration and try to convince people to pay additional money for premium features.
Bugs as such aren't DRM. They become DRM-like if GOG and the dev decide to fix them for the Galaxy or other ownership-verified version but not for offline versions. But as long as the bugs affect all versions in the same way, they are just sloppy programming and poor customer service, not DRM.
As for the mods, for me the essential sentence is what you wrote here:
thought you can still download/install modifications manually"
So I don't really understand where the problem is. I have nothing against an optional mod-manager, as long as it's use isn't enforced. The entire idea of the offline installers is, that you can install them manually without resorting to a client and without proof of ownership. The same is true for mods. If someone wants to use a mod manager that needs some login data, that's their choice. As long as I can download the mods manually and install them on an offline PC, I'm content.
If there is game content that is only available through a client-like software with login requirement, then yes, that content is DRMed. So if there's a misunderstanding and if there are mods that are only available by loging in to the Larian Studios Account, then BG3 requires a mention in the list. But as long as your last sentence is true, then I don't think that it needs a dishonorable mention.
