Petri Häkkinen, the programmer and one of the founders of Almost Human has finally revealed the name and a few details about a new game that he has been developing since last autumn!
This new game is not being developed by Almost Human but by a new "side kick" called CtrlAltNinja, a new studio founded by him and two of the other three founders of Almost Human, Juho Salila and Antti Tiihonen.
The game is not related to the Legend of Grimrock series in any way, different story, different world and above all different genre, the feel and atosphere though is still somewhat reminiscent of it in my opinion.
This time they are tackling a more standard RPG style with a nice pinch of roguelike, tactical turn based combat and a sort of top down point of view.
They have also launched a new site with a blog and all the informations about the game and the new team, you can find it here: Druidstone.

I'm usually not that interested in new games or I should say games in general, not anymore at least, this one though being frorm three quarters of Almost Human has instantly caught my attentions and now I can't wait for it to come out!
I really hope this will interest some of you people out there too because them being a pretty small and new studio will definitely need some help in terms of publicity!

Looks like top down version Legend of Grimrock.
Looks something like turn based RPG.
I liked their previous game and I am looking forward for this one.

Actually, from the trailer it looks more like an SRPG to me.

(Also, level 4 and only 10 health? That seems rather low to me (assuming the game doesn't have fractional health).

Looks "OK" I guess, my interest was high when I saw "turn-based RPG" but went down again when I saw you only have 4 preset characters - you can't even name them...

For me, my interest was high when I saw "turn-based" but went down when I was that it was a SRPG (with grid-based combat) rather than a traditional non-tactical turn-based RPG.

This game looks cool. The Almost Human dudes seem to have a very specific approach to game design, I'm curious to see how they apply it to a different genre.
