lupineshadow: I don't see why this is unreasonable given the job title.

edit: also, irrelevant to the topic.
Okay. So riddle me this. You'd be fine with moving somewhere over 1500 kilometres away to work in a physical location with practically no benefits (a dog friendly workplace & in house gym is not a replacement for a health plan), terrible wages, and culture shock to a job by which all discernible metrics doesn't require physical presence.

(To put it another way: Do you really think all of Valve's support team are crammed into a single building in Bellevue?)

Which also requires learning three languages, living under the rule of what could generously be described as an autokrator.

And you are, considering these factors; are surprised that GOG is a little understaffed; and in fact has had postings for several key positions for more than a few quarters which have gone unfulfilled.

It's the idea that an international position in a large company can't be a remote position. Most other companies this size have remote offices around the world, and many positions are remote in only when it comes to customer relations. Demanding people move to Warsaw is pretty unreasonable and drastically limits their talent pool to choose from for positions.
EDIT: Especially for what these jobs can pay.

And relevant to the topic because customer service must also relocate to Poland, when this job could be handled remotely, and you will never hire seasonal work (which they needed for this release) if all employees have to relocate to Poland.

Not OP!

Support must have read my post in here, because I got a reply soon after.

Doesn't look like it'll go well though.
Basically, if you're not using the mono-culture that is chrome/blink engine..tough luck..
Another nail in their coffin. Only makes my soft-boycott even easier.
Well ive been waiting for a month for a refund so i guess you gotta wait 3 months for your issue,
cant even issue a chargeback otherwise i will lose my other games
im never buying from GOG again

StrongSoldier: How bad is gog support?

paladin181: Used to be pretty decent. Then they didn't prepare the support dept for the insane in rush and now they seem to be 3 weeks to a month behind on most tickets.
That's why i told ppl not to buy games but you told me to piss off

No I said that it wasn't a viable long-term solution. My main point was you telling people "Just accept the loss of your hard earned money because GOG is going slow" is totally garbage. I also wrote the post you responded to here before the other, unless I am mistaken.

EDIT: I like these kind of discussions with you a lot more than your spamming of topics, BTW. Not that my opinion should be the end-all-be-all, but engaging with you is good. :)

The good thing is, they sensibly count according to date of request; so if you made it within the refund window, it is known to be from within the refund window.

Last report.
They've confirmed that using anything other than spying Google's Chrome, or the censoring & de-platforming Firefox browsers are moot.

Newsletters permanently unsubscribed.
My refund request was finally processed yesterday, a month after I made it.
