I activated Amazon Prime's GOG key for Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition. However, even though the game is now visible in my games library, the store page of the game or GOG's game listings do not show it as "owned" for me. Why is this? Is the version I have activated somehow different from the one GOG sells? If so, what is the difference, and is this going to cause problems later on, e.g. will I miss out on any later updates to the game?

The store product is the package which contains nothing but the game. The latter was for some reason given out with Amazon Prime subscriptions.

It's the same situation with Oblivion. Presumably these packages are remnants from back when buying any Bethesda game would automatically add Arena and Daggerfall to user accounts.

This would be neatly solved if the store would check if every item in a package is owned, then mark the package as owned. This would fix the issue for multiple games.

Thanks! I agree, the current behavior is especially counterintuitive when the 'package' only contains a single item.
