Timboli: Yep, using my browser to download, I am getting the Extras downloading at over 5 Mb/s.

So I am afraid I just don't get it. How are GOG benefiting by hamstringing the GOG Downloader? Seems very odd to me.

I want to use the batch download in series and with error checking, that the GOG Downloader provides. Just a totally crazy situation.
While GOG Downloader remains functional, it's no longer being developed. Its functions are now offered by GOG GALAXY.

But thanks a lot for the tips! :D
