What possible use is GOG Galaxy? Pure rubbish! And why should my PC boot be delayed so this piece of junk can be updated with new advertising?

Deleting it now. If that makes GOG games unplayable then so be it and goodbye.

You do realize that the files that gog galaxy downloads are drm free? you can download the files and then delete gog galaxy if it bothers you so much. Also there are offline installers...What is wrong with people these days.. As long as gog sells drm free games I do not have a problem.
