Yesterday i bought Kingdom Come:Deliverance. As i have a slow internet connection i want to download modern games over night. So i started the download yesterday evening and went to bed. This morning Galaxy managed to download 2gb and then went to 0.0kb/s. I restarted the download and went to work: 4.6gb downloaded and again it paused...

I had the same problem with Witcher 3 back in 2015. I dont know how i worked around it back then. A google search showed me people with the same problem going back to 2012. Seriously i want to support you guys but this is not acceptable.

Try using a program like FDM (Free download manager) to download from the website. That's the best solution of you have spotty internet as that can redownload the corrupted packets and continue interrupted downloads.
My internet connection is fine, its just slow (500kb/s) I allready use a download manager but i expect the same functionallity from Galaxy.
If the game in question has GOGDownloader support you can try that.
My past experience had been that GOGDownloader copes better with large downloads in slow speed connections than Galaxy.

Thanks for your reply. But i dont have time for this. Downloading with an download manager seems to work but if i have trouble with patching after that i just will get a refund if possible and go back to steam. Its 2018, problems like this should be solved if they want to be competitive.

Well to be fair, I also have a really slow connectiona and have never had this issue... so it's probably not a wide spread issue. It might have to do with what CDN you are being connected too.
Yes i guess it is not a common problem and i dont know what causes it. All i know is that i have this problem only with Gog Galaxy. The manual downloads are working too, maybe they are hosted different than the files Galaxy can access.

But unless someone working for GOG has something to say everything from this point is guesswork anyways. Maybe i will contact the support about it.
