McHack flipped doctor – good to know, sad he’s gone. Looks like everybody else was pretty much certain that he was telling the truth, but I couldn’t be sure.

Joe and gogtrial suspected one another – I mentioned gogtrial in my suspicions a few times because I thought mafia might notice a complete avoidance of one another and get bad vibes from that. As it turned out I ended up completely avoiding bookwyrm, which gave Hypersomnia bad vibes… typical.
I also reckoned that I could say what I like about gogtrial and he wouldn’t get lynched. If one of us was going down, it was going to be me. That was apparent from the beginning. This role stresses me out like nobody’s business. I’m much happier now we’re ‘out n proud’

Hypersomnia - I'm starting to like the idea of HypersomniacLive + trentonlf scum team. It would mean me being wrong about Vitek, but maybe I'm prepared to accept the possibility that I'm wrong.
Sprimal - If there's a serial killer it's him. Is he scum? Who's scumbuddy would he be? Bookwyrm? Has somebody mentioned that already? I think bookwyrm just said it as if to suggest "Me, work with him? Piffle!"... Yeah the very bottom of post 889. OH I guess he's saying "we both got scene lynched so we can't possibly be scene's buddies." Which I don't like...
trentonlf - There's a couple of things still about him that make me unsure. But none of the rest of you seem interested in him. Well, no that's not true. Vitek proposes he's buddies with HSL (I think) which HSL replies "Aha, I was trying to discover if he was scum!" and trent responds "I am the starless void". Or words to that effect.
bookwyrm - who? Oh him, is he playing? He's active today, he seemed concerned about the lovers claim, and the most desirous to get to the bottom of it. Would I expect a mafia to be interested too? Maybe...

No-one else has been remotely interested in vitek's claim proposal... Maybe it's a trap? I don't see how a claim could harm town too much at this point in the game, unless there's a SOOPER twist that no-one could have ever expected. If you're not in favour of mass claim, raise your hands.

Biggest point against SPF being anyone scumbuddy is how scene tried to redirect his lynch to him while he was simple goon. So for me it is not really issue of SPF unable to be buddy with some living one, more like with scene.

As someone has pointed out, mafia has RB for sure, I forgot about that and so they could block if there is someone with role.
The other side of it is that if there was another role, we would know for sure there is no SK. Only of course, if you and trial are not mafia. If you were, there could be no other role and SK.



I am still trying to figure out who could be buddy with whom but I still need to do more reading. Right now I think I would be most inclined to lynch HSL, then Wyyrm, followed by trent. Then I suppose SPF and it ends with Joe but aat the moment I feel like buying the lovesons claim so he is far behind others.

Hey all; back after a long and exhausting but rewarding day. Have another one to go tomorrow. From a very quick skim there doesn't seem anything immediate for me to tackle, so I'm just gonna go catch up with some non-mafia things, and then to an early-ish bed.

Huh. I like the poem as verification of day chat. Of course, my tinfoil hat just came over to ask me why the twist couldn't just be "Mafia has day chat". I told my hat that it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense with how scene played. My less foiled hat indicated that maybe day chat was set to make up for the lovers part.

Suggestion for verification of Day Chat:
-The lovers privately select a long-ish poem.
-Lovers will not identify the poem in the game thread at first.
-Lovers divide up the poem into multiple short passages. Each one takes alternating chunks. Chunks should be of variable length.
-They cross post with the divided passages. Both lovers have the poem name and source in their post.
-Neither lover will repeat any section of the poem that is provided by their partner.

Example:
Lovers select Poem X, which is 10 lines long.
Lover A posts lines 1, 3, 4, 7, 8, and the first half of 10. Lover A also posts the poem name and a source for the original.
Lover B posts lines 2, 5, 6, 9, and the second half of line 10. Lover B also posts the poem name and a source for the original.
Posts are done at the same time. One or two of the rest of us should be present as witnesses to the time stamp.

I'm trying to understand your vote on Vitek, it sounds like you are saying no one really suspects him but you are going to vote him because he made you feel wary at some point that wasn't recent? Is that accurate?

When it comes to scene anyone could be on a team with him, he was all over the place. The only person that might get some leeway is SPF simply because scene was so quick to jump on his wagon at the end of Day 1. As for SPF and bookwyrm being on a team together I see that as possible. Are you seeing something to indicate they would not be?

They would for sure have to post at the same time or it would not work, and that would verify that they have Day chat. I also agree with your tin foil hat that the way scene played makes a mafia Day chat seem improbable. Does it make you sad that y'all don't have a Day chat?
