As for the OP, let me address the recent situation with our Anniversary Sale - it's definitely not in our intentions to misinform you, or make errors like these the "new normal". Unfortunately, due to majority of our Sales Team suffering from Covid, on top of some of them being on vacations, part of the discount timers was set incorrectly. However, the discounts were brought back on Sunday, and lasted until the planned end of the sale.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Fortunately, the whole team is now back to speed, and we'll try our best to make sure such situations don't happen again in the future. Thank you for your understanding.

I'm not fighting. It doesn't make sense to me why it doesn't make sense to him. *shrug* Most people have to save for what they want. You buy things as you can afford them. If something isn't on sale, you have the money ready for the next sale, whenever that happens to be.
It's not a "new normal".
GOG did similar things for years.
