I wonder if those who ran the Chinese language stuff were among those let go who were mentioned in the recent news articles.

Sorry, but withdrawing Chinese support is not withdrawing support for "languages other than English." It is withdrawing support for Chinese. Since the company is in Poland, I doubt they would withdraw support for all other languages; you know, like Polish, etc.

It might be. I only know about a certain polish moderator on GOG that left the company/was fired , but he had nothing to do with the chinese language.
