Hi,Everyone!
I'm sad to see GOG in a bad shape T_T
I don't like the new front page and some curation decisions but I'm here at home.
It's not just a shop for me...It's an Ideal (yes, you can laugh).
So what we can do us mere users to help GOG?
I'm tired to just read bad news,I would like to fight for GOG!
Ooh I know, we could give them a list....we'll call it a wishlist of good old games from years past no longer offered on any platform or even in retail stores and they can then offer them for sale here and we can buy them and give them money and then they'll have money cause they gave us something we want to give them money for thereby resolving their money issue of not having money.

Now GOG before you guys start worrying about my cut of the percentage for this idea, I want you to know, I want no compensation in return. This idea of being a platform dedicated to sale of old pc game classics is my gift to you.

Buy (more) games, preferably at undiscounted full price.
@KidInTheHall28 That's true...I would love to buy a bunch of Oldies not released here.

@Swedrami Already own 559 games here+DLC xD

For now,I will ask more often for a GOG version on Steam.
And talk about GOG to all my friends gamer.

Surrender all of your free will and pray.

Oh wait, that's how to help GOD.
First, don't panic. Talking about the Apocalypse without enough information (the financial reports) won't do any good.

Apart from the obvious "buy more games", spread the word about GOG. It's surprising how many people haven't heard about GOG, or its affiliation with CD Projekt. So for example, whenever the topic of Cyberpunk 2077 comes up, recommend others to buy it on GOG.

Its not that hard to find you know

They've been bleeding money for all of 2018. The revenue situation is gonna be worse in 2019 with Epic causing GOG to reduce their margins, meaning that not only do they have shrinking revenues, but they have shrinking net revenue.

Unless by some miracle Cyperbunk comes out in 2019, and they make it a gog exclusive (which despite their protestations to the contrary, its pretty damn obvoius they're gonna do that especially with GOG Direct that's pretty much the entire point). They can cut costs to a point but tthe infrastructure is a fixed cost. Given their costs are identical between 2017 and 2018, its hard to see where they get both revenue and cost savings.

I think with the failed experiment of Thronebreaker, they won't risk Cyberpunk being GOG exclusive. Maybe timed exclusive.
Convince them to fire the Curation department employees. Directly depriving GOG of new deals and extra income, is usually considered dumb decision/bad investment. A number of devs contacted GOG already, some of them twice or more, in order to propose partnership over a certain number or games and those people constantly keep throwing up, that "you 're too nicheee" line, again and again.

Wishlist entries aren't even referrenced, anymore. Maybe, those became too niche, too.

You can't help somebody who doesn't want your help/money, though, bottom line. If they think they are okay with less games and less partners, at a point in time that more and more games slowly get axed, not our place to interfere. They run things. The only thing we can do, is keep shopping here and reminding gamers everywhere, the benefits of DRM being removed.

I‘ll help GOG by standing by and watch them hopefully burn for their stupid decisions. Once the fire is out, I‘ll be happy again.

Apples and oranges.
But agreed on the timed exclusivity.
Don't panic, they still have money to spend: Eurogamer
Well, to be honest the community has told GoG repeatedly how to improve and succeed.

Fix the website - myriad of problems
Fix Galaxy - see above
Stop crapping on your customers and community
Add games to purchase.
Add Sports games
Make it developer friendly
etc.
etc.
etc.

But after careful consideration the GoG Management Curation Team have decided that all these suggestions are too niche and as such have been declined.

They have to cater to the no-steam no-buy crowd. Though the physical media probably will come with GOG keys again.
