It's okay, been on sick leave from work for about 2 months but it's starting to get better so it's not that bad all things considered, i'm just bored.

Pretty depressing, as usual.
I just did read an interesting chapter in a book about Merovingians though, about fighting between aristocratic factions in 7th century Francia, with bishops having their eyes and tongues cut out, a king and his pregnant queen murdered, another king recalled from exile in Ireland etc. I think that kind of stuff inspired those violent Game of thrones novels.

It was all right. I took care of my grandma and we watched 5+ episodes of Pretty Little Liars. I can't complain too much because Ashley Benson is real easy on the eyes.

Could be. But I think I read somewhere that GoT was more directly inspired by the War of the Roses.
