Let me add my vote for Ubisoft game releases:

1. Assassin's Creed series - played the first one, didn't buy any further because of the DRM
2. Might & Magic X: Legacy - love the first 8, even like IX, again Ubisoft DRM - no go.
3. Might & Magic Heroes VI and VII - finished first 5 and the expansions, would love to play these if they ever released.
Not sure if you had seen this before, but there is an opened petition in the UK to discuss games end support's polices. I'm not a UK citizen, but I think it is worth to spread its existence around.

Require videogame publishers to keep games they have sold in a working state

It already reached more than 10,000 signatures, which demands at least a government response. With more which 100,000, the petition will be considered for debate in parliament.

You'll have to pardon my broadside cynicism regarding the country formerly known as the United Kingdom, but these are the same people who willfully voted to remove themselves from the world stage and are now experiencing the worst economic depression they've faced in years.

Now, if I were France, Ireland, and Scotland, I'd simply invade, but I suppose we live in more civilized times.

To wit, I doubtlessly wouldn't hold my breath for what those complete blithering idiots in parliament would have to say on a matter on with which they have no understanding & more importantly no will to care about.

If they knew/cared, the EA FIFA/Football Club games would have been cast into the nearest volcano years ago, on account of being a barely hidden vehicle for obvious gambling.
2024.04.24 Update

Following the complete Ubisoft server restructure, which wiped ALL user feedback (not just GOG), I have now recreated my GOG thread with a brand new original post, relevant to game preservation. Whether you are a new or an existing user on the Ubisoft server, you will need to grant yourself the "Other Games" role.
If you are a new joiner, you will be presented with 4 questions/pages. The 4th question/page will feature the "Other Games" role.
If you are an existing member, you will need to click on "Channels & Roles" on the top left, scroll to the bottom and select "Other Games".

Ubisoft Discord URL: https://discord.gg/ubisoftofficial
New GOG Thread URL: https://discord.com/channels/863058244934696961/1232704839637794817/1232704839637794817
(Requires the "Other Games" server role to access)

Please DO NOT post any "Stop Killing Games" campaign links there, to not antagonise Ubisoft and to avoid locking the tread.

I have indeed seen it and have shared it to every UK friend I know. There will be similar petitions in Canada and Australia soon too.

I have also very vaguely alluded to the concerns gamers have these days in regards to game ownership and game preservation. If you do join and support me once again, please do not post any links to this campaign on my GOG thread, to avoid it getting closed down.
