Hey. Just wanna know if anyone who was excited for this game has the same problem.

When I tried, the installation for the game failled and nothing I could do solved it. GOG won't even let me unninstall the game so I can try again.

Any one who went through this managed to find a solution?
Are you using Galaxy or the standalone installer? The standalone installer you get from the website should just overwrite the previous installation.

In either case just run the standalone installer and re-install it, see if that works. If that doesn't then you'll probably have to contact support and see if they can help.
Hi, I got the same problem. Once the progression is finished, go to the game's page in your library > more > manage installation > import forlder and chose the folder of Moonlighter. The game will be in your library.

I am also having the same issue. For me the maintain game import and choose folder button is all grayed out.

That was also my case, but you can also click on the 'Scan and Import folders' from the main menu, and that fixes it.
Same problem here.

It seems someone did a bad job when packaging this game for GOG. :(

I deleted the folder but GOG Galaxy tried to install it again and failed. AGAIN. :x

- Uninstall doesn't work
- Repair doesn't work
- Import is grayed out...

So I had to download the standalone installer and overwrite the whole thing with it. And now GOG is OKAY, play button is green, all is fine. Geez.

Hi, thanks to everyone who game for my help. So, in order of your helpful comments:

Yes, I am using GOG galaxy.

When I go to "more > manage installation > import forlde" the Import folder is greyed out, but as reekeecast mentioned, you can click on the GOG logo on top of your list of installed games and go for "scan and import folders' to fix the problem.

I have no idea of where to download the standalone installer.

The games does start and after the logo appears, it goes full black never to properly start the game. My problem still persists, even though I did take a step foward.

I must say, my excitement for this game is severly demished.

Considering multiple problems have been discussed in this thread, it may be helpful if you mention which problem you are having.

At this moment in time. The problem with the instalation is done. It can be solved by, as I said, "clicking on the GOG logo on top of your list of installed games and go for "scan and import folders' and select the right folder to fix the problem."

So, if you are having this problem, you can do this and you are probably good to go. But not me.

A new problem has arrived, in the form of a completely black screen after the first 2 logos of the game appear.

If anyone who is reading through these comments is having the save issue, or even managed to solved, I would be glad to hear it and know that I am not alone.

hello everyone.

I managed to solve the black screen problem. I unninstalled the whole game and installed it again, and before even trying to start it, I went to the GOG logo on the top of my list of installed games, went to "Scan and Import folders" as we have described before, only then did I start the game and it worked perfectly.

Thanks to everyone who came to comment here.

This bug was really annoying, and I hope the Moonlighter team will fix it so people in the future won't have to go through it again.
