Sure, you wanna convince the MLB/players association/Nippon Professional Baseball to sign on?
Here's the thing, dear personage: Sports enthusiasts are among the least intellectual, and most shallow of their kin of fandoms. They typically only care about a single numbered jersey with a specific name or a logo. Get rid of both or either of those, and frankly most of em' won't give a toss.
Not to mention that sporting leagues are some of the most corrupt associations within the private sector, lest you forget the careful painting over of head injuries within the NFL, steroid use as standard, and carefully regulated gambling regiment.
It also leads to the nature of sports games being considered disposable, and therefore they have been gentrified and homogenized to sand all the interesting edges out. No longer will a prime minister or president play basketball.
To this end, and in summation: I don't think it's realistic to want for a baseball game here, since any of the ones that GOG could get would be a trifle too primitive seeing as those were the only ones unshackled from major leagues.
And frankly, I'm something of a sports unenthusiast; if you're going to go to this kind of detail to simulate your favourite sport, why don't you just go out and do it for real?
