It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

Xinput 1_dll might actually be a DirectX related issue. Download new directx from Microsoft and install that.

Newest driver on system already. Guess I will cancel order.

Thank you anyway

Directx is not a a part of the driver per se. Can I ask what your OS and games please?

DirectX is an API rather than a driver and if you want a refund then you have to let GOG's support try and fix the problem first.

Alot of older games don't like DX12 and will want DX9:

Far Cry 2 doesn't use DirectX 12. It's a common mistake to assume that the latest DirectX replaces earlier versions - it doesn't. All DirectX versions exist in parallel and games use the version they were made for.

OK.Now what to do?
I could only suggest to install DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer here:

yup, the same suggestion as Pond86 above

Try (re)installing DirectX 9 and 10, those seem to be the ones supported by Far Cry 2.

You can try downloading and installing the missing dll in the game folder (maybe the bin folder)

link to dll
Click no thanks on the popup and you'll get it

Chances are they will get another error asking for another dll file doing that. Their best bet is to install DX9 (other games will need it as well.)

You are right, I checked pcgamingwiki and they recommend Dx9 for this game.
