Hi All,

You all know there is unwritten rule here on GoG - to celebrate any big life event. So to obeying the rule I host this small giveaway.

Yesterday I received new life achievement - First baby born!

In honor of this event I'm hosting a giveaway for 1 game up to 10€ (in CZ region). The giveaway will close in week or so to have a time to pick a winner and buy game during Summer sale.

To enter, just say I'm in.
And to make it more funny try to guess newborn weight. If someone guess it exactly or will guess it very close, will be instant winner. Otherwise I'll choose winner with helping of gods of random.org. Small hint: He's a boy :)

My guess is that the baby boy weight is about 3.550 kg!!

As a father myself, I hope you're prepared, because your life will change a lot. You'll have less time for the things you like to do. Now it'll be all about the baby. Oh and did I tell you about the sleepless nights? You'll be tired most of the time and a lot more grumpy than usual.

BUT.....

You'll get through all that! And things get better with time. Everything will be worth it because then you'll experience those awesome phases like hearing his first laugh, hearing him say papa/mama for the first time, watch him take his first steps, etc. Enjoy each one of these moments because they come and go very fast. When you realize he'll already be a big boy.

If you ever need any advice along the way, you can ping me anytime and I'll try to help you with my experience.

Again, I hope everything goes well and enjoy your life as a father. It's truly an amazing experience.

Congratulations truhlik, I'm in with a guess of 3.05kg. As for advice, don't worry too much about wanting to know everything about parenting perfectly in advance, it's a natural learning experience for everyone. Best of luck to you all for the future!

Sleep whenever you can. Don't piss off your wife. Be brave and learn to change your baby while poop is still a product of the dairy diet. Stay calm - with the first child, parents tend to easily panic or get upset about things that are no longer stressful in case of second or third child :D

And - enjoy! It's great to watch your baby grow. Be curious, ask questions, take advantage of the opportunity to see the world through the eyes of a child. Children ask fantastic questions, see remarkable things and relationships, and teach to look for the truth. The boy will trust you. He will teach you a lot of wonderful things.
