It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Taro94:
Hi Taro94! :) In one of the next releases your images could stop working (all icons + logo on retina). You should consider smooth upgrade to use logo, logo2x, sidebarIcon, sidebarIcon2x images instead of only logo, icon.

They're 100x60 jpg, 200x120 jpg, 31x31 png, and 62x62 png

I would recommend to add images with that aspect ratio (they all could be bigger of course) because I don't know how it will be handled in the future (cropped or stretched). :)

PookaMustard: Could you see to it that Taro's game adder be added into GOG Galaxy? It would be nice to do so, with him getting credited if he wishes to go forward with this.
Can't say much, but personally I can't see practical way of doing that. :) Just wanted to help and give some info.
You could vote for adding non-GOG games to Galaxy Client on wishlist though:

I appreciate all community work though! :) Always good to see it.

Tekkaman-James: Any chance you can tell me why my custom graphics for non-GOG games are no longer being displayed in Galaxy? Additionally, why does the "webcache" folder on my computer now contain folders/images for games I don't even own? Seems a weird thing to take up space on my HDD with.
Sure, why not - we have changed the image formats that we use internally. Also, we're not supporting adding non-GOG games to Galaxy in any way, I have only informed Taro94 that we'll be doing the change.

As skeletonbow mentioned - in-Galaxy browser caches (with a limit and algorithm for that) images to make everything load faster and not use your bandwidth too much. I'll do an extra check there.

Tekkaman-James: Thank you for taking the time to reply. I have checked the image files and dimensions in official GOG-approved games and the files I have created for non-GOG games are the same. My "resources.json" file and my "goggame-XXXXXXXXXX.info" file are formatted identically as well. Yet, with the new Galaxy update, all of my custom images have vanished. Is there any advice you can give me on how to make them visible in Galaxy again?
Unfortunately I don't have any advice on that. There might have been more changes than image formats (~9 months ago) only.

Tekkaman-James: I can appreciate that, but I am seeing folders for games I have never even looked at before. I'm all for reduced load times, but I think the current version of the algorithm might need to be reigned in a little bit.
I'm 99% sure you have seen them. Maybe your friends played it and you got a desktop notification about it, or clicked on it. Still - I'll try to revisit this topic later at work.
