Is there any benefit in using the newer installers of the games compared to the old ones? They are slightly bigger in size, I tryed to make a file compare and all game files are identical, just the root folder has different files. There are some small differences like old setups retained game folder last-modified date, while new one sets the time of when you are installing the game. Old setups had the full list of files containe din goglog.ini, while new one has just the game id and savedata location. Old one had a goggame dll file, while new one has a hashdb and script file. Overall though I don't see the reasons behind these newer repacks. Some series of games have half the games with old installer and the other half with new installer.
