ZFR: I'm receiving chat notifications (there is a "1" next to Chat in account), but when I go there, there isn't anything new (and the "1" disappears).

Can't find anything in the "what did just break" thread. Is this just a notification glitch, or am I actually receiving PMs that I can't read. Anyone else experiencing this?
I just "removed" someone since they were an obvious scam artist (they sent me a 419 kind of message) so you may be seeing that but I am not 100% sure.
