Ridiculously overpriced for what they offer. Would be a hard sell even at 75% off...

Lodium: Youte lucky youre not a collector then
i have more games in my collection than i can ever finnish in my lifetime on varius platforms including gifts and psysical
but maybe its a bit strange collecting digital games in addition to physical ones
i mean, its not like i can display them on a shelf unless i go out of my way getting a cd/dvd burner and a printer
but i cant help myself sometimes
I was specifically referring to buying titles (for yourself) you don't want to ever play. Not games that (assuming you had infinite time or lived forever) you would want to play eventually. And I also didn't mean things like gifts, giveaways, etc

Would you say that you buy games that you don't want to ever play? :O
If so, I'm genuinely curious as to why (though don't feel obliged to explain if you don't want to)

BTW, I don't think it's strange to collect digital content.
The only issue I have, personally, is finding it difficult to manage the physical and digital collections in a way that I don't forget half of what I have! xD

Oh, and while I'm probably not as much of a collector as you or others, I do know those painful backlog feelings bahaha :P

my name is grompy catte: This is an NIS sale, not a Falcom sale. The majority of the Ys games are not included either.

phaolo: Yeah I understood now, Clairsentient explained it in the post after mine.
Sorry, I have a bad habit of replying to a thread as I read it rather than reading the whole thing and then going back to reply.

Lots of collectors buy games they wont play or wish to ever play
for those its more about the collection itself rather than playing lots of games themself
I have some physical games that i will newer wish to play either because im not intrested in the genre or playstyle
or its considered a very bad game
but i still want them in the collection

The best example i can think of Is ET for Atari
its considered a wery bad game and many dont want to play it because of this but its still considered as collectibal with collectors

Interesting! It's nice to hear a different viewpoint on these things, and I learned something too. Thank you for sharing!
