Finding myself having more items in my LIBRARIES than I can handle -
I really love the "Recent" / "New in library" feature,
it is currently the only way I have of tracking when I added new items.

but it is limited to only recently, and then after some time the "added date" is no longer visible.

I would love it if the "sort by added date" feature was possible infinitely and not limited to just the recent additions.

Even if it is not possible to query that data from the library vendors, even if that data would only be saved on GOG,
I would still love and appreciate it!
Aren't you just asking for Purchase Date?

I assume you're using Galaxy?

Because in the normal (non-Galaxy) account, you can simply set the sorting to "Purchase Date" (as already mentioned by Darvond).
That works pretty well.
With one notable exception: Seven: Enhanced Edition will occasionally jump to the first place, but apart from that - all your games are shown in the order of their purchase, respectively their adding to the account.

Ahh yes, this is wonderful and almost exactly what I was looking for, had no idea that interface existed till you showed me.

However, I am interested in the capabilities offered by the galaxy interface which is also able to connect to other vendors (steam, epic, ubisoft, origin, xbox live)
and extract from the all items and sort them also by purchase date

THAT list, is limited to only recently, while I'd rather have it unlimited and show 100% of items.
of course that list also includes the GOG vendor itself obviously.
