I can not speak for "that other user"; as for myself i am always "fathoming" in regard to how to improve matters at every single spot in my life; although dependable on the priority of any given target, my motivation is able to fluctuate.

According to the rules, english is the main language and its "variables" known as engrish and slang... especially slang seems to be well known to you. The most critical rule i am able to detect is not bound to the "mental capacity" of an user.. else i would say... it could become difficult for way to many users and shockingly... even for yourself. The most critical rule is "not to spread hatred" which is bound to the heart capacity... so i does not even matter what grade in slang you got, the heart can see it all, with or without words.

You mean the CEO will tell you what you want to hear. From what I've observed over the past ten years, ZP has yet to bring back a single delisted title. Take Sacred Gold, for example: they released it and had to take it down the next day. The game is still not available on ZP because they face the same challenges as GOG when it comes to selling games.

Sacred is not the only title of Strategy First publisher catalogue got delisted soon after Strategy First (whatever they are now) land on ZP (unlike other stores SF just land it there). Some another get back. Although i cant say if someone asked. I know it was asked for Sacred, but no luck. Yes.
SF was back in the days a big digital publisher, and at least CDV was for discs retail edition. It was variety of titles, mostly SF was not original publisher but bought north america publishing rights only and only digital or even only steam publishing. Plus after all this years its not the same SF. No wonder some titles got delisted soon after appear.

I asked for Frozen Frost from 1C Publishing, and they response they look to brin it back, and in few days(half of a week) was reappeared by Bohemia brand itself. It was ZP ex for a time as 1C product, now available on Steam too. But no GOG. And i dont know who to ask. And i dont really care for this game. I found random title was on their store and randomly asked, it get better and faster than i expected. Also they show coming SF titles as screen of setup installers filellists before official announce it and they dont see issue in show some pre-release information on Discord as back feedback on community feedback.

GOG larger store. Can it really prevent making such forum contact or website feedback contact form? GOG struggling of not so high profit and lack of staff? Hard Truck 2 King of the Road athough was listed as Only on GOG was on ZP too. And they bring bonus (maaaybe someone asked for) - american version (not fully patched). Point is its possible someone asked, ZP - did.

Its not about advantages of stores. Basically they are same... except GOG overpromote Galaxy. ZP trying to make it not like GOG keep use bundle installers as all-in-one in most cases (as GOG was before Galaxy). Jordan Freeman have persnal issues. With GOG. He ask to delist ZP from GOGs FCKDRM website and GOG twitter announce of killing time where ZP actually was credited initially (or somewhere else, cat say for sure now). I suspect we got SR1 rollback cause of someone prsnal issues too. One side is Wrace. I dont want bring persn judging here but there as something happened. He decide GOGs upate was not good enough and report it to them. Their person got personal issues with Wrace it seems for me and we get rollback. "oh screw you!" like that. At current state game cannot get back, it have legal issues. Of using Wrace(+paul_met) fanpatch. GOG finally change that and... Well, Wrace chose better words this time here on GOGs LOK forum, last time he use more critical words about Blood Omen 1 GOG release. Maybe some misunderstanding was a reason too. And only then personal issues come. Directly and in matter of facts Wrace cannot be blamed even if my assumption is completely right for how it happened back then.

In that case, case of someone conflict/issues, i doubt JF goes to at least try bring it back. He's better though than Ziggurat or EA new managers.

Im not blaming here anyone, I must note. Initially issue realy comes from what Wrace said about GOG - GOG+SE used fan patch without permission. Serve as a proof that its really happened on GOG.

It is not really allowed making advertisement for other DRM free shops or even talking about. It may occasionally happen but such huge posts related to "other DRM free shops" is not sensitive.

Anyway, nope... those other DRM free shops are almost entirely full of low grade games, mainly in the "Indie category" and... if you do not believe me... you can check my current game archive with games with a chance of approximately 95% not available on those "other DRM free stores". GOG is the only store providing installers and DRM free, with a quality and quantity, i can take serious. It does not mean "no indie", in fact i got many indies as well, but in usual with increased quality it gets harder having a DRM free release.

I can not say how good those other stores are able to "preserve" their library... yet, by using a lot of common sense... they have not any lesser of a hard time than GOG able to do so. The only one with some higher leverage might be Steam; however... Steam is not very customer friendly and they do not use their possible power of making something happen that all the other shops would be incapable of. If they make anything happen at all... it is for the sake of their own treasure...

The customer support... i can not say as i lack the experience, might not be great on GOG as they simply lack the manpower, my honest opinion. However... i am not so sure if those other shops are that much better. Perhaps Steam yes, because they got huge wealth... yet it does not mean they are always helpful... for example they will enjoy to turn down a reimbursement (personal experience) if it is outside their window (which is not good at all).

Besides: The Wrace and some other store specific stuff i fail to decipher it properly, it is just very hard to get out the true intention if so many words are no friends with each others, kinda like killing each others... it is unfitting in the nearly highest sense; so the words can not try to increase the accuracy with each others... instead they are even decreasing any accuracy with every additional word. At least... i have to admit... this is a skill i rarely experience, but ultimately "words that are not friendly with each others" will not produce any insight. You should try to love the words and try to find out their true meaning and "pairing"... so they can help out each others.

GOG did promote other stores themselves, incl ZP as i mention above. No more though (no more after beginning of 2021).

I want say there is two aspects. Reasons. One and always main one - no one care.
Second one - there is legal and even personal issues with SR1. Not like unsolvable issues. So back to reason #1.

Especially ridiculous cause Aspyr did failed bring original visuals in Tomb Raider using lowest possible quality. Just like very majority of such remasters do.

Facts and details are at same boat as old games. Non-facts and assumptions are more "preserved" usually.

Remasters did not include original games, nor their goodies. Refer to GOGDB for list of missing goodies.
It did not and did include localizations. Not in original form same as game itself. But thats at least not make issues.

I do agree, offering remakes and remasters without original game and/or goodies is a "no go" and in many cases executed by GOG without any statement. Still, if there was any original game at all, the legacy game will still become preserved inside any account. However, any new buyer will be "out of luck"...
In some cases GOG is trying to bundle the old "original game" with a remaster... but this is increasingly getting rare; so this is a serious issue which will have to become addressed. I can not say "how well" some other stores are handling it but you should never compare apples with oranges. In general, higher quality games got bigger issues with any sort of copyright as their entire "rights management" gets increasingly more complicated. For example... trying to get the rights issues solved for System Shock 2 and many other games was a true "clusterfuck" for GOG.

No clue... because i can not say "which of the classic versions" got the best quality possible and i am not even sure if the PC version was the highest quality nor do i know the actual source (probably PC) from Aspyr. In my mind, the best quality was on Dreamcast... because most likely it was the last hardware the "original team" was still involved. This console was as well "the base" for some mods done by Raina Audron. Some of those mods has been partially reused on the PC remaster, it seems.
