Time to climb back into the cockpit! Terminal Velocity™: Boosted Edition is now out on GOG!

As a remake of 1995's Terminal Velocity, the Boosted Edition is a 360-degree combat flight simulator, featuring a variety of different planets to battle across and a high-powered weapon arsenal to aid you in all of the fast-paced action. In the far future, armadas from surrounding systems have suddenly waged war on Earth. You are a pilot from the Ares Squadron, flying the fastest, most dangerous aircraft ever made. You’re outgunned, outmanned, and strapped inside a flying coffin. Whether you’ll survive or not is up to your skills.

If you buy the Boosted Edition, you will also receive Terminal Velocity™: Legacy for free. If you bought the Legacy version of the game when it was available on GOG, you will receive the free copy of Terminal Velocity™: Boosted Edition as soon as the game launches.

Check it out now!

Very nice, thank you very much Ziggurat for the free version of Boosted Edition for previous owners!

Thank you very much for the free update!
Looks legit to me, thanks for the boosted edition and keeping the legacy version alive too. That's how it should be done. Gonna play this version soon. It says on store page that it has cheevos, but I don't think it really has them.

Btw back then everyone played Descent and I did too, but at nights I played Terminal velocity for that extra immersion and impossible difficulty at times. Then the same story repeated with Mechwarrior 2 and imo less known Earthsiege 2.
A freebie for previous buyers? Very nice, thanks.

I will check then, whether the tunnel bug is still present or has been fixed :P

Completely agree, this is how it always be. :) Also, the game does have achievements, I just unlocked a few:
https://www.gog.com/u/SCPM/game/1289070799?sort=user_unlock_date&sort_user_id=46988743161150049

Some notes:
It seems only quicksave and quickload are available, I can't create save files manually like in the original. Also, it defaults to the original DOS control scheme, changing to mouse control is as bad as it was in the original, if not worse. :) Cheat codes still work, and you can even unlock achievements using some of them.

Amazing that this is included as a free upgrade for all Terminal Velocity enjoyers.

However, is there a windowed mode available? I cannot find one.

O thanks for the infos dude. I've played without galaxy just few moments ago, got to stage 1-3 boss fight and died there on hard diff. Need to get used to the controls or try joystick. I'm not much into cheats tbh (though I've enjoyed messing around with poke cheats back in the day, if I was otherwise done with the game, or it was too hard for the child-me), but imo they should have disabled cheevos while having cheats on. Though it's an old game, maybe it was hard to implement, I dunno. I'll try to restart galaxy to see if cheevos would appear on My progress list, as I see it empty still. Cheers!

Free version of Boosted Edition for previous owners, original version preserved and offered along with the new one, achievements. Kudos to Ziggurat, many publishers should follow suit.
Happy to report that the tunnel scaling bug seems to be gone. Now I can finally play through the game on Terminal difficulty
