The Alchemist of Ars Magna – RPG and a visual novel from MediBang is now available on GOG with a -20% launch discount which lasts until April 7th, 7 AM UTC!

In The Alchemist of Ars Magna, once upon a time, the founder of alchemy led people from a dying world to a new land. In this fertile and harmonious land, man-made "Gods of Creation" acted as guardians and humans led a peaceful existence. However, a long time has since passed, and the "Dust" of death began to engulf Arcaus. Gods have gone mad, transformed into the "Gods of Misfortune" and began to devour the world, and ash demons born of dust bare its fangs at the living.

Alchemists who wished to carry on the miracles brought upon by its founder gather at the Cagliostro Academy, a school boasting the highest levels of wisdom. Among them a young alchemist who knocks on the doors of the academy with aspirations in mind. This is the story of The Alchemist of Ars Magna.

Interesting, but no unrated patch?

Ok german observation.
I can view the game on steam with my original IP, I can't view it here with a german IP.
My guess would be the steam version is censored and the one here is uncensored.
Of course just a guess.

Defenitely intrigued by the game but it will have to go on wishlist for now.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with either PGN Games or MediBang Inc.

Did you mean to say that MediBang usually sells their published games with the unrated patch already installed? Seems like MediBang only has one other game on GoG right now. From the sole review, their other game seems to come pre-installed with the patch?

I'm also interested in getting all parts of the game but not so willing to purchase without understanding what I'm getting...

It'll be a great help if their publisher / dev would chip in and add a note or two on the front page of the game itself, specifically for GoG builds since the Steam build seems to be from another publisher.

Like before, I saw your post, and lo and behold, it's also region locked for Japan too.

But I can buy it on Steam no problem?

For Japan ? It's not pixelated I guess. Well it's not as you can see on itch.io
The steam Version has no adult content without an unrated patch.
