For many gamers, those were the first hot-seat games of childhood. Warlords series is back on our PCs thanks to Slitherine and GOG.COM. Check out turn-based strategy titles that preceded games like Heroes of Might and Magic.

As a leader of one of the fantasy factions, you have to conquer the land, vanquish your enemies while searching for magical treasures and beasts. Warlords I + II and Warlords III: Darklords Rising are games that still provide lots of fun in single and multiplayer and are quite a challenge even for experienced gamers.

I have very fond memories of Warlords 3 (both versions) and i still own the big boxes.
Getting a chance to experience the previous games is very welcome.

Fantastic! Interesting to see that Slitherine published these here.

Just to be clear though, is Warlords III: Reign of Heroes not actually here? Some wishlist entries for it are marked as "completed" but I assume that's an "oops" on GOG's part.

also this entry can be completed I believe (I may have to message a blue about it) -

I thought this whole series was in total licensing Limbo.

Warlords 3 are an instabuy for me. I only ever played a demo of Warlords 3 at the time. Sadly the game wasn't actually available on the market in Slovenia at that time.
